About the D.El.Ed (BTC) Program
The D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), also known as BTC (Basic Training Certificate), is a 2-year diploma course designed for individuals aspiring to become primary and upper primary school teachers. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and governed by SCERT/DIET (State Council of Educational Research and Training), the course prepares candidates for a meaningful teaching career in government and private schools across India.
